How far is true whether Indian government has adopted cloud computing technology, according  to the economics times on Aug 11, 2012, "Government to migrate critical IT infrastructure on cloud computing" was published. The plan is to connect all the datacenter of state and union territories and have private cloud of its own. The proposal was given to It companies like HP, IBM, Cisco and Dell to set up and maintain private clouds.
